Job Description:

The BSA / Compliance Specialist II is responsible for ensuring the Bank complies with the Bank Secrecy Act Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering Program.  This position will also work with elements of the Bank’s Compliance Management System to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including loan reviews.  Personally, accountable for complying with all Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering regulations, bank policies and procedures.

Learn all aspects of BSA/AML responsibilities and monitoring to include, but not limited to:

1. Monitoring of day to day operations of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering Program, including the filing and approval process for Currency Transaction Reports.
2. Conducting suspicious activity investigations, preparing various reports and ensuring the timely filing of reports.
3. Daily OFAC report, loans with early payoff and ATM/gift card reports, and beneficial owner report.
4. Monthly wire monitoring.
5. Completing FinCEN 314(a) searches bi-weekly or as received.
6. Customer Identification monitoring.
7. Indexing of customer identification documents.
8. Monitoring and analyzing BSA/AML high and moderate risk accounts.
9. Completing an internal data integrity review on the NuMonitor system annually.

Learn essential compliance regulations and loan processes, including but not limited to:

1. HMDA reviews.
2. Website monitoring for compliance issues.
3. Conducts periodic deposit account disclosure reviews.
4. Conducts miscellaneous compliance reviews as needed.
5. Gathering and submitting documentation for regulatory exams and internal audits.
6. Documenting the complaint and training logs as needed.
7. Loan review reports: 
   1. Appraisal desk reviews
   2. Out of area dealer tracking
   3. Monthly exception report
