The Event Experience Specialist is responsible for the implementation and execution of enterprise-wide events, in concert with Sales Strategy and the Charitable Relations and Events team. This position fosters the organization's strategic initiatives, sales, marketing, customer and community experience goals and functions through targeted and focused community events. This role will report to the Event Strategy Director.
Additional Duties:
- Assist with the development, coordination and execution of business and community development events and activities in support of the event and experience strategies and respective lines of businesses.
- Partner with the Brand Experience division on the development, coordination and execution of internal corporate recognition and rewards events.
- Function as troubleshooter and resource link for sales and service support throughout the organization.
- Act as a "Busey Brand Ambassador" - maintain design and integrity of corporate brand and culture internally and externally; perform Brand In Action Audits in corporate markets.
- Responsible for working with other departments across the organization to refine processes, policies and procedures in support of the customer experience, efficiency, brand integrity, and quality control.
- In partnership with the Sales & Strategy team, all sales, navigate marketing and customer and community experience programs to effectively describe and promote the organization and its strategic initiatives and products.

Ability to:
- Identify areas of opportunity where community outreach and event planning would be most effective
- Execute events while adhering to budget
- Work independently and develop new procedures and approaches to problems as necessary; streamline processes, procedures and policies
- Analyze and solve problems based on a wide knowledge of many factors where application of advanced or technical concepts is required
- Maintain mental concentration and visual attention for variable lengths of time
- Perform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressures
- Flexibility to travel within Busey's markets including but not limited to: Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Florida
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Requires 1-2 year or more years of multi-faceted sales, marketing and/or event planning experience.
