What you'll do:
A successful Marketing Analytics Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing data related to strategic marketing campaigns, playing a crucial role in helping leadership make informed decisions and optimizing their marketing strategies.
How you'll make an impact:
- Use data and analytical tools to highlight key successes and spotlight marketing opportunities. Visualizing and structuring data in a way that appeals to different audiences (some prefer specificity; while others require executive summary information)
- Leveraging your ability to think outside of the box and creatively solve problems, including challenging assumptions and influencing stakeholders
- The work you perform will have a direct impact on accomplishing the Bank's strategic objectives and business results
What you can expect:
- Data Analysis: Analyzing marketing data, including sales figures, customer demographics, and online traffic, to identify trends and insights.
- Performance Metrics: Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to define and measure the success of marketing efforts.
- Reporting: Creating regular reports and dashboards to present findings to the marketing team and management.
- A/B Testing: Conducting A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of different marketing strategies and making data-driven recommendations.
- Data Visualization: Using tools like Excel, Tableau, or other data visualization software to present data in a visually understandable way.
- Market Research: Conducting market research to identify opportunities and threats in the competitive landscape.
- Customer Segmentation: Segmenting customer data to target specific demographics or segments with tailored marketing strategies.
- ROI Analysis: Calculating return on investment (ROI) for marketing campaigns and providing insights to improve profitability.
- Predictive Analytics: Utilizing predictive modeling and machine learning to forecast future marketing trends and outcomes.
- Communication: Collaborating with the marketing team to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing campaigns.
- Data Integrity: Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by implementing data quality checks and validation processes.
- Stay Updated: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and emerging analytics technologies.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- 2-4 years' experience in marketing analytics / strategy analysis in the Financial Services industry preferred.
- Salesforce or CRM-equivalent expertise is preferred. Marketing Cloud or marketing-equivalent system knowledge is also preferred.
- Experience with Tableau or other equivalent data visualization tools is preferred; becoming a Tableau expert is required to successfully perform the role.
- Fluency in Microsoft Suite products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience putting together executive or board level dashboards, reports, and other summarized materials is a plus.
- A high degree of professionalism with outstanding communication (written, verbal, and listening) skills.
- Ability to self-start and self-motivate, a willingness to take an active role to drive results by collaborating with peers, leaders, customers and teams.
- Desire for continuous learning and inclination to understand big picture elements potentially outside of current role requirements.
- Motivated by a curiosity to find new questions or answers by looking at data and problems in novel or unique ways.
- Strive to bring new thoughts and ideas to the team in order to drive innovation and unique solutions.
- Proven ability to develop, analyze, and effectively interpret data.
- Curiosity to learn fixed income capital markets, mortgage markets, financial institution funding dynamics, and wholesale funding markets.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and concentrate on details in a fast- paced work environment.
- Critical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and present results/recommendations to audiences.
