Primary Responsibilities: Job Description
Supervise Client Experience Bankers and provide coaching and mentoring in order to create a World Class service environment for Southern First clients
Work closely with other bank departments on outside business development calls and handle any client retail deposit needs
Grow the deposit base by expanding existing relationships and winning new clients
Offer appropriate bank services and products by developing and maintaining a strong working knowledge of all relevant Bank products and services to include cash management, remote deposit, ACH and wires and positive pay services
Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all policies/procedures/regulations/applicable laws
Research and verify account information, client inquiries and resolve problems for clients, as necessary. Discuss products and rates. Provide Safe deposit box services
Provide services such as account opening, responding to clients and providing leadership to the team
Complete other duties as assigned
Essential Skills, Education and Experience: Job Description
Five years banking experience, preferably in Client Services or related area
Must have basic computer skills
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience and ability to write and conduct an objective employee performance review
Interpersonal communication skills in order to represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with clients and other team members
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
Extensive knowledge of retail banking rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Maintain regular, consistent, and professional attendance, punctuality, and professional appearance
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience using bank systems, such as Horizon XE
