Role and Responsibilities

Maintain fixed asset depreciation records using Sage Fixed Asset software

File quarterly call reports with the FDIC

Maintain daily cash position at correspondent banks

Assist with third-party internal and financial statement audits

Maintain pledged collateral records for the Federal Home Loan Bank and Public Fund Deposits

Balance various general ledger accounts and process general ledger entries

Manage Accounts Payable

•         Review invoices, input data, and process payments.

•         Generate amortization schedule for prepaid expense accounts.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

•         Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of financial accounting practices and procedures
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Excel
