POSITION SUMMARY: Manages the Bank’s onboarding program and coordinates learning and development programs. Evaluates and recommends external training programs. Administers bank-wide on-line compliance training program and HR vendor management program. Works independently under the supervision of the SVP/Human Resources.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts new hire onboarding, including creating welcome packets, welcoming new employees prior to start date, and follows up with management.
Administers the Bank’s online compliance training program. Updates curricula as determined by the Risk Department. Enrolls new students, ensures that employees complete required courses in a timely manner, runs reports and maintains files. Provides requested files for audits.
Coordinates the Bank’s tuition reimbursement program and Workforce Training Grants. Maintains budget and expense records.
Distributes external learning and development programs and seminar information to employees. Notifies management of application deadlines, tracks participants.
Administers the Bank’s Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS), ensuring compliance through proper and timely bank and employee registration and management of the database.
Administers the HR department’s vendor management program and support box.
Oversees and coordinates HR compliance programs and systems, including regulatory bank-wide compliance posters, FDICIA controls. Supports HR compliance audits.
Organizes in-house, bank-wide training sessions. Assists with scheduling of participants, reserves meeting space, documents attendance and maintains pertinent documents.
Participates in the design of the Bank’s training programs and conducts training sessions ensuring the programs align with the Bank’s mission, corporate culture, brand and strategic objectives. Develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media. Conducts gap analysis to introduce and modify programs as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Outstanding communication and project management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and aptitude to learn new technologies. Experience in performing multiple tasks and managing workflow in a deadline driven environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is generally performed in an office environment, with frequent interruptions. Willingness to work a flexible schedule. Must be able to stay in a stationary position, operate a computer, move inside the workplace and for external business purposes, and exchange information.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Associates Degree in Business Administration or equivalent years of experience.
MINIMUM PRIOR EXPERIENCE: 2 years of Human Resources, Training or similar experience.
