We are looking for a seasoned Asset Based Lending Sales Manager in Pasadena, CA. This role focuses on managing a sales team responsible for increasing sales by selling bank products and services.
The ideal candidate will have the experience necessary to:
Manages, directly or indirectly, a sales team responsible for increasing sales by selling bank products and services.
65% Focused on external deal originiation.
35% of time they will be collaborating and working with internal relationship managers and Bankers
Works directly with leadership on the development of strategic plans in order to meet sales objectives.
Trains, motivates, coaches and provides guidance to team in order to increase sales productivity and implements team development programs that enhance the achievement of the group's objectives.
Assists with development of strategic plans in order to meet sales objectives.
Collaborates with other stakeholders to determine appropriate sales strategies, activities and the development of the sales team.
Monitors progress toward team's achievement of goals.
Provides support for identifying and solving complex customer problems.
Oversees special projects as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree and 4+ years of sales, sales strategy, management, loans, credit lending and analysis, bank products/services or other directly related experience. Some managerial experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
Advanced knowledge of sales techniques, sales strategies, negotiations, lending credit lending and analysis, and banking products.
Ability to write/screen/prescreen underwriting - held to account for prescreen memo
Knowledge to structure appropriate asset based lending deal and have the communication skills to present the deal to internal credit decision makers
Ability to set and maintain high quality work standards.
Ability to lead a group.
Ability to deal effectively with people in various job capacities.
Strong client relationship skills.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Must have excellent management, sales, communication and customer service skills.
