Job Description:
At EnerBank, the Software Products Team Manager is responsible for partnering with senior leadership, the App Development, IT, Business Intelligence, Sales Management, and Marketing teams, and EnerBank customers to develop and shape product discovery, development, and launch strategies.
EnerBank USA, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and other organizations (with networks of home improvement contractors) to develop customized white-label loan programs to help them increase their sales as well as attract and retain top dealers.
Primary Responsibilities
Develops, maintains, and communicates a strategic plan for software products that aligns with the bank's visions and goals
Coordinates with leadership, domain managers, key 3rd party relationships, and industry researchers to determine high level objectives, opportunities, and risks
Coordinates with other team leaders to ensure optimal product development lifecycle by collaboration and alignment of interests
Builds, develops, and manages a product team and defines best practices to execute product development strategies
Performs general management duties, exercising usual authority concerning staff, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions and terminations
Ensures staff is properly trained and adheres to policy and procedures
Presents internally and externally to promote new and existing products and works with marketing to generate compelling content
Defines, tracks, and reports KPIs and OKRs in each product domain to monitor success and inform planning
Acts as subject matter expert for EnerBank Software Products Product Managers
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field and eight (8) years of B2B product management or marketing
Or Associate's degree in Marketing, Business or related field and ten (10) years of B2B product management or marketing
Or High School Diploma or GED and twelve (12) years of B2B product management or marketing
Experience managing a product management team
Experience in Agile delivery methodologies
Preferences:
Experience in banking and loan products
