Job Description:
At Regions, the Client Services Specialist serves as first point of contact for commercial and business clients utilizing treasury management products and services.
Primary Responsibilities
Provides ongoing technical support by phone or email for treasury management products and services which can be complex in nature
Performs remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Trouble shoots file mapping and advise on necessary changes
Takes full ownership in researching and resolving complex banking issues
Handles client phone interaction while simultaneously documenting the event in the call tracking application
Manages workload to ensure issues are resolved promptly
Serves as a liaison between assigned departments and other areas of the bank to resolve transaction disputes/inquiries and payment processing issues
Receives in instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level associates
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Two (2) years helpdesk, technical support or treasury management experience
If applying for a position that will work from a remote location and not in a Regions facility, the following technical specifications will be required:
Download speed of at least 30 megabits per second (Mbps). The Internet Service Provider (ISP) should be able to furnish this information
Upload speed of at least 5 megabits per second (Mbps). The Internet Service Provider (ISP) should be able to furnish this information
Must test on speedtest.net to confirm download speed or provide documentation from provider
Satellite internet cannot be used. Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi extenders is not permitted when using Regions Equipment. Ethernet cable must be directly connected from the Internet Router to the Meraki device (provided by Regions).
Preferences
Bachelor's degree or technical certification
Skills and Competencies
Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
Ability to handle calls with professionalism, demonstrating a sense of ownership, with a goal of one call resolution achieving established service standards
Adaptability and flexibility to quickly adjust to changing environments and product offerings
Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong typing skills
Superior communication skills required including clear verbal communication over the phone, and the ability to provide concise and accurate written communication to business customers through email as appropriate
Position has an Onsite Training Requirement for first 6 weeks. After training if approved by management, then there is a possibility to work remote.
Training schedule is Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM CST, following training you will be assigned an 8 hour shift between the hours of 6AM-7PM CST Monday-Friday.
Next training class is schedule for April 10th.
