Job Description:
At EnerBank, the Business Systems Support Specialist is responsible for supporting various business systems throughout the organization to test, troubleshoot, and escalate resolutions where there are malfunctions or issues that associates or clients are experiencing. Associates at this level receive routine guidance of senior team members.
EnerBank USA, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and other organizations (with networks of home improvement contractors) to develop customized white-label loan programs to help them increase their sales as well as attract and retain top dealers.
Primary Responsibilities
Provides technical support services including troubleshooting for low complexity issues, problem resolution, and maintenance
Escalates complex issues to the application development team
Responds to questions regarding operation and malfunctions
Researches, evaluates, and provides feedback on incident
Monitors system issues and escalates identified issues to the appropriate technical team
Ensures application of system policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of support services
Serves as a liaison between the business unit and technology
Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from more senior level roles
May document issue resolutions
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Or Associate's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience
Or High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of related business experience
Skills and Competencies
Ability to learn additional systems as needed
Demonstrates a basic working knowledge of systems and software development concepts, practices, and procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong customer service skills/background
Strong interpersonal skills
This position is based in our Salt Lake City, Utah headquarters office. Training is 100% onsite and post the training period offers a flex schedule with combination remote and onsite work. The role is meant to be worked full time between the hours of 11:00a-7:00p MST, Monday through Friday.
