Job Description:
At Regions, the Modernization and Transformation Partner is a strategic partner in the R2 Modernization initiative.
Primary Responsibilities
Recommends strategies and initiatives that are required for the Bank to close gaps and/or gain competitive advantages
Coordinates the execution and strategic direction for R2 Modernization
Embeds a continuous improvement philosophy and methodology that frequently assesses people, process, and technology
Monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the organization to determine opportunities for improvement
Collaborates with the R2 leadership to gain consensus on optimal models required to support the modernization
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
This role is for internal associates only.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Eight (8) years related banking work experience
Skills and Competencies
Ability to develop strategic plans while considering multiple internal/external variables
Ability to manage complexity and navigate through ambiguity
Ability to partner within and across departments to achieve transformational goals
Analytical mindset with the ability to deploy key strategies
Deep understanding of various aspects of banking and technology
High aptitude for learning new concepts
Natural leader with the ability to develop the future state vision for the organization and drive he execution of initiatives required to achieve the vision
Recognized as a visionary thinker with the ability to develop novel ideas
Strong change manager with the ability to influence associates at all levels
Strong written and verbal communication skills with leadership presence
Technology and digital acumen
