We are currently seeking a Wealth Management, Associate Portfolio Manager to join our team. This position is located in Salt Lake City, Utah or Houston TX, and reports up to the Director of Investment Management.
Responsibilities:
Assist management of client investment portfolios for high-net worth individual and institutional clients.
Proactively assist senior portfolio managers to ensure client portfolios are aligned with investment models.
Explain and differentiate between various investment strategies and opportunities.
Participate in client retention activities including helping to prepare presentations and investment related information for clients.
Help conduct due diligence and portfolio analysis.
Clearly articulate purpose of investment decisions and asset allocation.
Monitor client rebalancing needs and help direct trades as needed.
Experienced in mutual funds, ETFs, separately managed accounts, and private capital.
Work effectively as part of a team in an investment advice driven business model.
Responsible for analyzing, proposing, and documenting portfolio trades in a team environment.
Effectively implements investment decisions and trades and rebalances client accounts according to change in asset allocation model or individual client needs and objectives.
Works in conjunction with senior portfolio managers and operations department to execute daily investment decisions in accordance with investment policy and client investment objectives.
Responsible for completing investment projects as assigned, evaluating market trends, and analyzing securities.

Requirements:
Requires a Bachelors Degree
2+ years of directly related experience.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills required.
