This role is responsible for the growth, development, retention and performance of an assigned portfolio of clients while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have the experience necessary to:
Responsible for the growth, development, retention and performance of an assigned portfolio of clients while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
Responsible for relationship management, conducting relationship reviews and recommends products and services that meet client's financial needs.
Develops, generates and follows-up on new client leads by identifying and generating new business through prospecting efforts and collaborative networking with internal and external referral sources.
Responsible for sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, client interviewing and perceptive character judgement.
Responsible for managing members of a team, coaching a team to develop new relationships, grow existing relationships through cross selling while providing a high level of client satisfaction.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree in banking, finance or a related field and 6+ years business banking lending, credit analysis or other directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
Extensive knowledge of business banking, credit analysis, lending, loan processing and closing processes.
Ability to expand business banking loans, client relationships and cross sell bank products.
Requires strong sales ability.
Advanced experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment skills.
Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to train, lead and mentor a team of relationship managers.
Working knowledge of software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
Strong supervisory or leadership skills required.
