We are looking for a Business Banking Team Lead in San Jose, CA.  We are looking for a Business Banking Team Lead in San Jose, CA. This role is responsible for the growth, development, retention and performance of an assigned portfolio of clients while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. 

The ideal candidate will have the experience necessary to: 

• Responsible for the growth, development, retention and performance of an assigned portfolio of clients while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.  

• Responsible for relationship management, conducting relationship reviews and recommends products and services that meet client's financial needs.  

• Develops, generates and follows-up on new client leads by identifying and generating new business through prospecting efforts and collaborative networking with internal and external referral sources.  

• Responsible for sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, client interviewing and perceptive character judgement.  

• Responsible for managing members of a team, coaching a team to develop new relationships, grow existing relationships through cross selling while providing a high level of client satisfaction.  

• Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

• Requires a bachelor's degree in banking, finance or a related field and 6+ years business banking lending, credit analysis or other directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.  

• Extensive knowledge of business banking, credit analysis, lending, loan processing and closing processes.  

• Ability to expand business banking loans, client relationships and cross sell bank products.  

• Requires strong sales ability.  

• Advanced experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment skills.  

• Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.  

• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  

• Ability to train, lead and mentor a team of relationship managers.  

• Working knowledge of software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.  

• Strong supervisory or leadership skills required.
