As an IT Platform Engineer, you will be integral in providing a foundation which supports speed of development, access to data, automation, and configuring and supporting platform toolingto create those journeys.
The successful candidate will have the skills and experience to effectively participate with cross-functional teams and customers in collaborative design and development activities dealing with complex applications and challenges. You will be detail oriented, focused on delivering high quality deliverables, have a passion for the field of platform administration, software development, and possess customer empathy with a drive to create outstanding customer experiences and improved solutions.
This individual will:
Collaborate with business and IT partners to iteratively build robust and scalable solutions.
Ensure optimal performance of various systems and products (e.g., Salesforce FSC, Azure DevOps, etc ).
Manage roles, profiles, sharing rules, flows, permission sets, and groups.
Build custom reports and dashboards.
Perform tool database maintenance tasks, including tests and duplicate entry cleansing.
Design and integrate both internal and external APIs and adhere to development lifecycle best practices.
Document processes, applications, and data flows.
Research, analyze and recommend technology features, functionality, and development solutions for our digital platform.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and methodologies.
Define and participate in DevOps and Platform Engineering
Document code, perform code reviews, define and participate in secure coding best practices to validate and ensure quality of code.
Stay current on industry trends and technologies.
Experience with public, private, and/or hybrid cloud implementations.
Learn new technologies and understand and adapt to changing priorities.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. Master's degree in directly related field may be counted toward experience.
1-2 years of experience with Salesforce System Administration
Demonstrate working knowledge of SQL, SOQL, or similar query tools
CI/CD experience supporting/using source control and release management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Copado, Jenkins, GitHub, Selenium, etc.)
Experience with coding languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc.
This position requires regular face-to-face interaction with teams, business stakeholders, and executives in Salt Lake City, Utah. We will consider candidates in the area, able to relocate to the area, or working remotely but willing to travel regularly to Salt Lake City.
