- Responsible for the oversite of the credit quality, management, and risk grading of loan portfolio (commercial and consumer).
- Assist with loan structuring, credit analysis, and monitoring ongoing credit performance.
- Ensures credit and underwriting quality, compliance with company underwriting policies and guidelines, and maintain efficient loan underwriting.
- Directs, coordinates and make recommendations for the approval, documentation, and onboarding of loans.
- Develops and maintains relationships with documentation and servicing support personnel and other internal partners/stakeholders.
- Implements approved credit policies and procedures
- Onboarding and ongoing training and development of loan officers and portfolio managers.
- Establishes and monitors performance objectives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field and 6+ years of lending, credit analysis, business banking or other directly related experience.
- Considerable working knowledge of lending, credit analysis, underwriting, structuring, etc.
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills; both verbal and written.
- Strong customer relation and problem resolution skills.
- Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.
- Requires a considerable working knowledge of other related fields and the ability to apply that information to current role.
