Responsible for the oversite of the credit quality, management, and risk grading of loan portfolio (commercial and consumer).
Assist with loan structuring, credit analysis, and monitoring ongoing credit performance.
Ensures credit and underwriting quality, compliance with company underwriting policies and guidelines, and maintain efficient loan underwriting.
Directs, coordinates and make recommendations for the approval, documentation, and onboarding of loans.
Develops and maintains relationships with documentation and servicing support personnel and other internal partners/stakeholders.
Implements approved credit policies and procedures
Onboarding and ongoing training and development of loan officers and portfolio managers.
Establishes and monitors performance objectives.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field and 6+ years of lending, credit analysis, business banking or other directly related experience.
Considerable working knowledge of lending, credit analysis, underwriting, structuring, etc.
Must have excellent organizational and communication skills; both verbal and written.
Strong customer relation and problem resolution skills.
Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.
Requires a considerable working knowledge of other related fields and the ability to apply that information to current role.
