We are looking for a Business Banking Representative in San Diego, CA, to manage relationships with existing and new clients to ensure their business needs are being met. The ideal candidate will have the experience necessary to:
Perform outbound discovery and relationship management calls to new and existing customers to uncover, onboard and service a variety of banking solutions.
Responsible for acquiring, expanding, and managing customer relationships through consistent outreach.
Uncover and recommend suitable lending, deposit and other banking services as well as provide financial advice and counseling.
Responsible for expanding portfolio through sourcing of new relationships and expansion of existing customer base.
Assist customers with loan applications, account opening and onboarding of new solutions through virtual and digital channels.
Develop and implement strategies for expanding portfolio and maintaining a positive customer experience.
Analyze the risk potential and profitability within assigned portfolio to uncover additional growth opportunities.
Seek and obtain business referrals from customer portfolio, new prospects, and centers of influence.
Assists with inter-department projects and provides support to business unit personnel as needed.
Responsible to follow all operational, regulatory and compliance procedure and requirements.
Remain well versed in economic and financial condition relating to assigned customer base.
Interact with other departments and perform assigned duties.
Qualifications:
Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in business banking, business and consumer lending, credit analysis or other directly related experience.
Must have strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills needed to create and maintain banking relationships.
Working knowledge of sales, banking products, business/consumer lending, credit analysis, customer service and portfolio management.
Ability to uncover and recommend deposit, lending and fee-income solutions in order to expand customer relationships and grow assigned portfolio.
Requires initiative and discipline, must be self-motivated with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Ability to thrive under a broad application of principles, theories and concepts.
Working knowledge of a variety of computer software.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $50,000 to $65,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
