We are seeking a Senior Audit Project Manager that has career aspirations of building a long-term career within our company. The ideal candidate will bring experience leading audits from planning to reporting, excellent communication skills, and energetic ownership of audit areas.
This role can be in Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Denver, Houston or Las Vegas and offers a Hybrid 3/2 work schedule.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead as Auditor-in-Charge for financial and operational audit projects.
Develop risk-based audit strategies and execute tests to validate control effectiveness and risk mitigation.
Manage the execution of risk-based audit testing.
Define the objectives and scope of fieldwork, while managing the project budget and productivity.
Document audit testing, results, and conclusions.
Review audit testing performed by the team.
Review and validate audit finding action plans and escalate emerging concerns.
Consult with management on risk mitigation strategies and identifying control solutions.
Develop subject matter expertise over assigned audit areas.
Develop data analysis and continuous auditing strategies.
Effectively present conclusions to senior management with the risk perspective of the Audit Committee.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in economics, business, mathematics, finance, or accounting.
4 + years of audit experience preferably in the financial industry.
Demonstrates effectiveness in leading team members and engaging the diverse strengths of colleagues.
Generates innovative ideas, solutions, and new perspectives in reaction to issues; is open to challenging current processes and procedures.
Manages multiple priorities and competing demands and addresses obstacles preventing the work from moving forward.

Ability to travel if necessary.
