Zions Bank is now accepting resumes for a Senior Loan Control Specialist in the Professional Practices Lending group. Ideal candidates will have the skills and experience necessary to:
Review loans to determine compliance with company policy and standard operating procedures.
Make decisions and recommendation for approvals of loan under established standards based on reviews.
Review and screen loan files for compliance and problems.
Prepare and analyze loan packages with respect to program guidelines and perform applicable due diligence to assure compliance.
Monitor and follow up on collateral documentation.
Review files subject to audits and remediate exceptions prior to audits.
Track and maintain audit exception reports.
Perform post-closing audit and review of loan files to assure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
Be adaptable and take on additional assignments as needed.
What you'll bring to the table:
Requires an Associate's degree in business, finance or a related field and some experience with loans, loan documentation, processing, credit or other directly related experience.
Basic knowledge of loans, loan documentation, lending requirements and lending regulations of specific lending area.
Knowledge of lending auditing, credit and compliance procedures.
Ability to make sound decisions. Solid customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of various computer software programs such as word processing, spreadsheets, lending software, etc.
Solid computer skills including MS Office Suite programs.
