About the Job:
As the Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) you will support designated business lines and lead the business partner function for the organization. In this role, you will serve as a consultant and be responsible for supporting the organization's talent acquisition and retention, performance management, change management, culture, and employee relations strategies. This position will provide comprehensive, proactive and strategic support for executives and business leaders in the development and execution of talent management strategies while achieving business goals.

What You Will Do:
- Leads and oversees the business partner function to ensure consistency of practices and programs, and provides feedback and direction to other HR Business Partner employees.
- Partners and provides HR expertise, coaching and consulting to business leaders to achieve strategic goals and organizational objectives.
- Serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees around any talent issues including performance, organizational design, career development, total rewards, coaching, employee relations challenges and change management.
- Drives rollout plans for company-wide HR initiatives with leaders and employees.
- Analyzes trends and metrics, and collaborates with HR functional experts to resolve problems and develop meaningful solutions and programs.
- Provides expertise, guidance, and coaching for handling highly sensitive and complex HR related matters.
- Supports a culture that reflects the bank's core values and behaviors and maintains a high level of employee morale and engagement; assesses the "pulse" of the employees.
- Assesses and identifies organizational enablers for success including structure, processes, tools, talent, behaviors and rewards.
- Supports talent acquisition efforts including developing talent and sourcing strategies to recruit and attain high performing candidates, providing critical feedback on candidates, and ensuring a positive onboarding experience for new hires.
- Serving as a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion advisor to further the goals and objectives of the bank's formal strategies.
- Engages various HR resources to lead implementation activities (e.g., creating new structures, roles, hiring, partner transitions, training/reskilling, designing new rewards strategies, and performance management).
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant, proven HR work experience.
- Financial services experience preferred.
- HR professional certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and a team-player approach is critical to serve as the primary point of contact between the line of business and the HR Department.
- Possess a thorough understanding of business strategy and HR business practices including talent management, workforce management, organizational structure and design, total rewards, succession planning, change management, and employee relations.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, create alignment and resolve conflicts with a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business conditions and objectives into talent management strategies.
- Influence in situations without formal authority.
- High degree of business acumen in order to use data and analysis to develop insights.
- Strong change management skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve potential or existing problems, implement change, identify training needs, or other HR-related issues.
- Anticipate and provide alternatives and options to the business.
