WHY IT MATTERS
In lockstep with the President of Regional Banking and regional Market Presidents, the Regional President will be a pivotal position (in the leader's respective geography) helping the organization realize its goal of attaining 25+ billion in assets within the next five years. This role is the linchpin in creating a more agile revenue generation team throughout the regional footprint and fostering relationships that grow alongside Busey.
Additional Duties:
With a focus on well-capitalized business and individuals, the Regional President will generate revenue within the region leveraging the holistic growth/sales model as defined within centralized services through:
- Effectively communicating goals and objectives internally and externally so that customer satisfaction is maintained at high levels and the group/division business objectives are attained.
- Maintaining high Associate Engagement and Customer Net Promoter Scores within region
- Identify ways to enhance products and service delivery; collaborates with other regions and functional areas to develop and implement such improvements.
- Actively engages and shows leadership in the community through various networking events; attend various community events as a representative of the Bank.
- Cultivating leadership and open communication within the region through calls, holistic sales team meetings, sharing of relevant information in order to enhance the standards of Service Excellence in order to anticipate and exceed the needs of our customers, both internal and external.
Directly manages commercial and wealth leadership throughout the Busey footprint.
Responsible for achieving the Region's financial revenue, expense, portfolio growth, regulatory compliance and risk management goals:
- Follow global risk, credit and compliance parameters of the company, as well as other corporate policies and expectations.
- Responsible for management and risk reporting together with analysis for executive review and action.
Sets performance standards, manages workflow, grants authorities, evaluates performance, and recommends personnel actions within delegated authorities.
Promotes and facilitates frequent communications with Regional staff across all LOBs and Support areas.
Manages associates through effective organization of resources and a sound planning process. Provides consistent direction to enhance achievement of the bank and regional goals while encouraging and developing a marketing focus for the Region.
Responsible for the performance of the Commercial Loan and Deposit portfolios; develops new Commercial and Wealth business via client interaction with existing and prospective customers.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Knowledge of:
- Banking and lending strategies

EDUCATION, TRAINING & STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
Requires a 4-year college degree Finance, Economics or Business Management.
Requires 7 or more years of lending, credit and leadership experience.
Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
