WHAT YOU'LL DO
This role will serve as a technical expert for Retail Banking processes and technology, responsible for providing system administration, technical guidance, and support services within Busey's Business Systems team. This role will work with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to develop, implement, and maintain solutions ensuring efficient and effective processes with minimal customer and user disruption.
This role will report directly to the Director of Business Systems & Processes.
Responsible for all technical and process aspects related to retail banking, with an emphasis on the administration of Jack Henry and Associate's SilverLake core processing system.
Supervise Business Systems Retail Banking Analysts; Support day-to-day technology and processing needs of the Retail Banking and Service Support business lines.
Partner with Risk, Compliance, and IT Security to ensure awareness and adherence to state and federal guidelines.
Design, document, and implement solutions by creating or modifying system workflows, templates, and parameters.
Provide support for internal user requests while troubleshooting issues, escalating items to management, and vendor technical support as needed.
Educate business units on new retail banking technology and functionality.
Create and maintain systems end-user setups and permissions.
Partner with retail banking stakeholders to remain aware of technology and process challenges and needs.
Ensure change control and operational procedures are met for production updates.
Identify third-party integration opportunities to retail systems, bank core, and supporting systems; troubleshoot and resolved issues with existing interfaces.
Serve as liaison between business units and technology teams.
Manage system enhancements by testing new functionality, deploying to a production environment, and communicating to end-users; Monitor retail banking systems for updates and address system configuration updates where needed.
Develop working relationships with third-party vendor support departments, including the professional services group.
Serve as Level 2 support for Customer Relationship Management platform.
Administrative support of additional systems and special projects, as needed.

Serve as a technology stakeholder in the Retail Banking Technology working group focused on identifying and resolving process and technology challenges and governance of change and release management processes.
Provide technical expertise, direction, and support for retail banking processes, technology, teams, and federal regulations.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
Requires Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience

1+ years interpreting plugin code.
1+ years Java, XML, Visual Basic, or SQL coding experience
Prior experience within a Business Systems Operations type of role; Experience with Jack Henry & Associates core applications a plus.
Proven experience managing vendor relationships.
Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
