WHAT YOU'LL DO

The ServiceNow Application Developer will assist in coordinating the activities and work of other resources, both internal and external, and assist with the development and implementation of ServiceNow for the Information Technology Department and other cross-functional teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Duties:

• Assist with design, support, & implementation of ServiceNow ITSM Professional and future functionality of ServiceNow as needed
• Work with Service Managers and/or project teams on planning and testing of new functionality or improvement of existing ITSM modules
• Assist ServiceNow Administrators with upgrade planning, testing, and implementation between development and production instances
• Perform CMDB/Asset implementations and transition enterprise-wide CIs/Assets from legacy solutions to Service Now while validating existing CMDB requirements against industry and IT best practices
• Designs and develops solutions for Service Catalog Items, general features, and enhancements using 3 ^rd party applications and API's
• Perform audits to ensure compliance requirements are met & remediation actions are taken as needed
• Work with ServiceNow vendors on projects and ongoing support

Knowledge of:

• 3-5 years Knowledge of ITIL v3 methodologies, processes and implementation for ServiceNow ITSM Professional
• 3-5 years Knowledge of Service-now custom Application Design & Development.
• 3-5 years Hands-on design, development, testing, and deployment experience
• 3-5 years Java Scripting knowledge
• 3-5 years' experience CMDB/Asset implementation from legacy solutions to ServiceNow using industry and IT best practices.
• MID Server Integration knowledge

Ability to:

• Take independent action within established options and develops new procedures and approaches to problems when necessary
• Analyze assignments based on a wide knowledge of many factors where application of advanced or technical concepts are required
• Maintain visual attention and mental concentration for extended periods of time
• Perform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressures

As part of the Busey ServiceNow team, the ServiceNow Application Developer will contribute to the organizational scoping, building, deployment and ongoing administration of ServiceNow Modules both existing and discovered through continual improvement initiatives.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

Experience creating request forms, developing integration with external systems, implementing security (including Access Control Lists), and enhancing the user interface to provide a custom look and feel

Hands-on technical delivery including Service-now solutions, Ability to create and Modify workflows using traditional workflow and flow designer.

Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP/OKTA, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS
