Under general supervision, serve as the subject matter expert for Fiserv Signature banking application to perform duties as they relate to the Bank’s Core application Fiserv Signature. Primary responsibilities are to work directly with end users, management and third-party vendors to manage and maintain the Old Point Bank Core banking application. Acts as the subject matter expert for the Fiserv vendor in support of Core banking functionality, including participating on project teams, delivering training to end users and resolving on-going issues.
Serves as the subject matter expert for banking application Fiserv Signature Core to include knowledge of the deposit and loan structure.
Performs administration and configuration duties in conjunction with the Information Technology department. Manages the stages of the software application including, release and alert testing, coordinates alert and release upgrades.
Manages the end user experience within Fiserv Signature Core and related applications.
Responsible for change management.
Manages and coordinates Year End Tax Reporting, and IRS Reporting.
Participates and leads in technology refresh projects related to the banking applications.
Responsible for user permissions and access reviews.
Oversees customer Statement and Notices operations.
Actively leads process efficiency exercises to fully utilize the Core banking applications.
Develops and maintains reports utilizing multiple data sources and reporting software available.
Leads and participates in efforts to develop and improve line of business processes.
Develops training guides, documentation, and manuals.
Performs all work in compliance with applicable regulations/policy and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities):
Knowledge of Fiserv application, set up, and reporting or similar bank applications
Knowledge of banking regulations as they relate to bank applications.
Skill in adopting technological advancements and facilitating into current and future responsibilities.
Skill in analyzing situations and applying critical thinking in order to resolve problems and decide on courses of action.
Familiarity with banking applications hosted on iSeries.
Analytical self-starter, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to distill and convey information in a compelling manner,

Bachelor’s degree in information systems or equivalent training, education and experience.
Experience in working with Fiserv Signature Core preferred.
Minimum three to five years’ Financial Institution experience.
