We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, customer-minded, compliance-driving individual to join our BSA Team!
Primary role of the BSA Manager is to maintain appropriate monitoring activities to ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations, as documented in the BSA Policy.
Develops and implements appropriate customer risk-rating forms within Verafin for both consumer and business customers that will effectively identify customer risk ratings in accordance with the BSA policy and procedures.
Performs periodic risk-based reviews on all customer relationships, with greater emphasis on moderate- and high-risk customers, and assists with reporting the results to the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis.
Assists BSA Officer with internal periodic tuning and testing of existing rules in Verafin to ensure their effectiveness, and maintains sufficient documented rationale to support current parameters given the bank’s products, services, and geographic markets.
Formulates and revises BSA/AML procedures and practices and provides staff with appropriate training or instruction, as needed.
Serves as backup the Bank Secrecy Officer responsibilities when necessary.
Assist the BSA Specialist on the Framl function of the Verafin software program when needed.
Serves as backup contact for:
OFAC and communicating any OFAC updates.
USA Patriot Act (CIP) tasks including maintenance and monitoring.
FinCEN 314(a) reports and communicating any updates.
Maintain and protects the strict confidentiality of all information acquired while performing job tasks.
Maintains regular, on-time attendance.
Remains current in assigned training and continuing education for designation retention (online, video, in-house emails, telephone seminars, etc.)
Complies with all regulatory requirements including Bank Secrecy Act and all others specific to their position.
Performs other various duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance is preferred; otherwise, must have a combination of applicable education and experience.
Minimum of 2-4 years of demonstrated operations, compliance, anti-money laundering and Bank Secrecy compliance experience in the financial services industry.
Extensive knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Money Laundering Control Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control regulations and associated regulations and interpretations
Knowledge of bank operations, policies and procedures.
Ability to provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned staff while carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Passion for providing a stellar customer service experience to all customers (external and internal) and ability to instill this passion in others.
Excellent interpersonal skills (tactfulness, cooperation, courteousness and customer friendliness) are necessary to represent the bank in a positive manner.
Positive and cooperative approach when working with others.
Excellent written communication skills with demonstrated ability to write clearly, concisely and effectively, with attention to detail for visually appealing output and accurately proofreading publications.
Excellent verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to effectively present information to customers and management.
Strong administrative skills with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve multiple project targets/goals.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and positively adapt to routine changes while maintaining high performance standards.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
Ability to efficiently and accurately keyboard information, both computer and calculator.
Strong computer skills with a proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
