Credit Analysts organize and evaluate borrowers’ financial information, prepare written analysis of loans, including financial trends, ratio analysis and repayment capacity based on borrower/guarantor cash flow. Regularly conduct written reviews of appraisals and property evaluations for residential and commercial real estate loans and annual commercial loan reviews. Assist in managing the process of financial and loan exception tracking on an ongoing basis.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred (Accounting or Finance emphasis) or 3+ years of commercial banking credit analysis experience preferred
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent oral and written presentation skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Self-starter who can work independently
Prior work experience in a loan support role desired
Must be capable of multi-tasking
Strong interpersonal & communication skills including business writing skills required
Intermediate to advanced level PC skills – including; M.S. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and financial software used to spread financials
Basic knowledge of bank regulations and general commercial lending practices.
Complete understanding of significant ratios derived from spreading financial statements and the ability to analyze the financial health of an entity based on significant ratios and changes over time in those ratios.
Valid state Drivers’ license
Ability to meet bonding requirements
