SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: Process and service all types of loans in accordance to bank policies and regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Process requests for Consumer, Home Equity, 1-4 Family (In-House and Secondary Market) and Commercial loans for loan closing, renewal or adverse action in a timely manner
Obtain required documentation for loan which may include: Title work, appraisals, payoffs, releases, credit reports, HELOC checks, flood documentation, insurance, UCCs and other necessary information
Review appraisals and evaluations
Underwrite consumer loans
Book and fund originated loans
Complete loan checklist to verify completeness, accuracy and compliance standards
Organize credit files and upload documentation at origination and for the life of the credit
Generate, review and prepare monthly HELOC, OD and LOC statements
Prepare and mail collection letters for delinquent loans
Process loan delinquency and maturity notices daily
Review loan account maintained journal for accuracy when primary is out of office
Maintain monthly report for loan policy exceptions and adverse action notices
Analyze and disburse escrow accounts
Monitor real estate property taxes
Monitor rent rolls
Process Participation loan advances and payments
Assist customers and internal staff with loan related questions
Prepare Consumer and Commercial Interest Rate Sheets
Prepare Mortgage Interest Rate Sheet and upload rates to Mortgagebot
Maintain weekly open house sheet requests and prepare and deliver to local realtor offices
Maintain knowledge of the bank's policies. Continuously increase knowledge and skills through self-motivation, formal education, seminars and in-house training
Participate in bank functions, meetings, trainings and public relations events

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Preferred knowledge of Fiserv Precision and Director programs
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Adobe or PDF equivalent program
Basic math skills
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, correspondence and memos
Ability to create general correspondence and communicate effectively in verbal and written formats
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations with customers and other employees of the organization
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out basic instructions
Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude and willingness to help
Develop rapport with customer base, have knowledge of account ownership, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution

Follow bank policies and maintain ethical behavior at all times.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Two year college degree, high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience with two years of demonstrated banking or financial industry service and prior loan processing experience preferred. Knowledge of current regulatory rules for lending and banks internal loan policy.
