The Chief Operations Officer provides direction and supervision to the operations and administrative departments of PEB which include: Human Resources, Training, Security, Deposit Operations, Item Processing, Purchasing and Facilities Management.

As a member of the executive team, the work involves extensive contact with the President/CEO, members of the Board of Directors, community business leaders and internal department managers. Excellent analytical, communication and self-direction skills are needed. The position requires five to ten years experience in bank operations leadership and management role. Develops, researches, oversees and implements banking operations policies and procedures. Analyze operations areas for improvement and develops resolutions. Continually accessing budget and ways to operate more efficiently. Works with auditors/examiners as needed. A vast working knowledge of banking regulations and the FDIC are necessary. Participates in appropriate internal committees. It is preferred the candidate be a graduate of banking school.
