SENB Bank’s growing Wealth Management department in the Quad Cities is currently seeking a Trust Officer to join their team. This individual will perform all functions as necessary to properly administer all aspects of accounts handled in the Trust and Financial Services Center. These accounts include Trusts, Estates, Investment Agencies, Custodial Accounts, Escrow Accounts, Land Trusts, IRA’s and Employee Benefit accounts. This includes account opening, ongoing administration, reviews and account closing procedures, ongoing client contact, problem resolution, accounting preparation, contact with attorneys and accountants as well as other professional service providers as needed to service department clients as needed. This individual will also be accountable for the retention of their portfolio of Trust accounts, and the delivery of fiduciary services to that portfolio of clients.
-- Deliver quality service to a book of trust clients through a proactive contact process based on defined standards of service. Manage client investment portfolios in line with investment committee's guidelines.
-- Maintain current understanding of regulations as they relate to Fiduciary issues and communicate information to Trust team.
-- Be a resource for investment representatives in complex trust prospect situations.
-- Participate in the new account acceptance process.
-- Coordinate audit and examination process and coordinate any required responses.
-- Participate in Trust Investment Committee.
-- Generate some new business; while this is not the primary focus of this position, some effort in this area is expected.
-- Maintain current understanding of regulations as they relate to Fiduciary and Investment issues.
-- Represent the Organization by being active in the community. Actively participate in service organizations, community activities, etc. to promote a positive organization image and to generate leads for the new business efforts.
-- College degree required.
-- Minimum 10 (ten) years Trust Administrative experience.
-- Trust investment experience preferred.
-- Business development experience preferred.
-- Knowledge of Trust regulations, compliance, and other legal matters.
-- Proficient in PC skills including Microsoft Office.
