The Compliance Analyst is responsible for operational support duties in the Compliance Team. This position assists in developing, implementing and ensuring the overall effectiveness and adherence to Bank compliance programs based on new and existing regulations, changes within the bank and audit or exam findings. This position assists in administering the Bank’s Third-Party Risk Management Policy & Program; the Record Retention program, Privacy, CRA, and ID Theft Prevention programs. This position involves use of independent judgment as well as responsibility for performing technical duties in fulfilling the above.
Prepare supporting workpapers evaluating internal controls, procedures and operations.
Monitor changes in laws, regulations and examination trends and distribute related information in a timely manner.??
Track and monitor the implementation status of regulatory changes
Support departments on a day to day basis by conducting research, responding to inquiries, and assisting with the development or revisions to controls
Conduct reviews of bank’s marketing material
Participate in product development and changes in products and services
Assist with the training of bank personnel, as appropriate.
Assist in meetings and examinations by gathering records and information
Perform ongoing support to the Compliance Team as needed (e.g. BSA tasks, risk assessments, and other tasks).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
Willing to attend educational programs, on and off site.
Strong research and analytical skills
Knowledge of bank products,services, policies, and procedures
Comfortable working in a digital environment
Maintain a strong degree of confidentiality
Ability to balance priorities and complete tasks timely
Ability to exercise good judgment in assessing the significance and relevance of identified compliance risks.
Good oral and written communication skills
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Two-year college degree or equivalent experience
One to two years of regulatory compliance experience
Compliance certification or a willingness to become certified
Working knowledge of Bank operating environment and applicable systems including Microsoft Office suite with previous Excel experience required
Valid driver’s license required?
WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS
Typical office environment with exposure to moderate noise levels.?
Able to regularly sit for prolonged periods of time?
Extensive computer use is required?
