We are now accepting applications/resumes for our Regional Security Officer position located in Utah . This role will be a hybrid schedule with some time in the office and some working remotely. The ideal candidate for this role will have the skills and experience necessary to meet the following responsibilities and qualifications:
· Responsible for providing a broad range of security service to the corporation and its affiliates.
· Ensure compliance with federal regulations and prevent loss due to internal fraud or criminal actions.
· Protects employees and company assets.
· Conduct investigations and design technical security systems.
· Provides training on security issues including workplace violence to employees.
· Duties in physical security involve managing card access buildings, conducting alarm panel audits and their administration and documenting damage to Bank owned sites.
· Ability to work with Bank Operations to design new or remodeled facilities with the appropriate electronic security equipment.
· Proper court testimony is expected.
· Must be available 24/7 to respond to criminal activity or emergency events at a Bank site that need Security's attention
Qualifications:
· Requires a Bachelor's and 2+ years of relevant experience with bank security and regulations, electronic security systems, operational risk, law enforcement or other directly related experience.
· Experience with bank and branch operations preferred.
· A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
· Working knowledge of Federal banking regulations, criminal investigations, security and security systems and their application to team's objectives.
· Knowledge of case management, operational risk, banking and branch operations.
· Ability to handle difficult situations, work with management and employees and law enforcement agencies.
· Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
· Strong problem resolutions skills.
· Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
