Keystone Savings Bank in Keystone, IA is looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative to work 32-35 hours per week.  The Customer Service Representative provides a wide range of customer service through sales and service to individuals with deposit products. Provides new deposit account opening services.  Duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Provides extensive customer service to depositors with specific or special banking needs. Provides personal banking account advice, including suggestion for account resolution and other information to assigned customers as needed.
  • Cross sell products and services when appropriate. Identity referrals opportunities and make relevant referrals.
  • Process customer transactions within established guidelines; maintain and balance cash drawer.
  • Face of the bank; greet customers, provide excellent customer service, help customers meet their financial needs while adhering to policies, procedures, and confidentiality.
  • Compliance with regulatory rules and regulations.
  • Opens all type of accounts, including checking, savings, certificates of deposits, IRAs, etc.
  • Assists potential customers in establishing new accounts and completing customer account files.
  • Completes operational tasks as requested, working with team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements for the position include the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of cash handling and customer service experience. At least a year of account opening experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office. Precision Banking Software (Fiserv) including Business Process Manager and Integrated Teller Software a plus.
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of concentration and accuracy while multi-tasking, must be able to maintain a high standard of confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment. Must possess good communication skill and problem solving skills, have good math skills, and be able to follow instructions according to bank policies and procedures.
  • Notary recommended.
  • Must be available to work up to 32-35 hours per week.
