We are currently looking for an IT Software Delivery Lifecycle Lead. Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize the Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) program, ensuring efficiency, quality, and alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of current SDLC, processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategic initiatives to streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance and project management, to enhance communication and coordination throughout the development lifecycle.
- Implement best practices in Agile and DevOps methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous integration, delivery, and improvement.
- Drive the adoption of automation tools and technologies to increase efficiency, reduce time-to-market, and enhance overall delivery.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to SDLC efficiency, identifying trends and implementing adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure SDLC program is optimized and remains compliant.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a senior leadership role with a focus on optimizing SDLC processes within a highly regulated sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies, with at rack records of successfully implementing process improvements in software development environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability t to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to software development in financial institutions.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive culture change, and foster collaboration across various departments.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Location:
This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus is the company's primary technology and operations center.
