Zions Wealth Management is a specialized division within the bank that offers comprehensive financial services to affluent, high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses. These services often include personalized investment strategies, financial planning, estate and tax planning, succession planning, and risk management. The primary goal of a wealth management group is to help clients grow and preserve their wealth while providing expert guidance to navigate complex financial situations and achieve their long-term financial objectives. Zions Wealth Management is a strategic focus for the Zions Bancorporation, an organization that expands across eight affiliate banks in the Western United States.
We are currently in search of a dedicated Wealth Market Manager to join our team of bank partners. At Zions Bank, our Wealth Management Team is supported by a cohesive group of banking professionals, which includes:
- Investment Management Portfolio Managers/Advanced Planning Professionals
- Retail Bankers
- Community/Business Bankers
- Private Bankers
- Commercial Bankers
Responsibilities:
- Serves as senior market leader with respect to the wealth advisory services business, ensuring that a full range of investment services are provided to all clients.
- Builds partnerships with affiliate leadership to grow the business through qualified introductions to bank clients.
- Primary focus is retail, commercial and private banking.
- Coach, mentor and work closely with wealth advisors.
- Make joint client/prospect calls with the advisors.
- Monitor the achievement of production goals, providing advice and guidance on team engagement for HNW and UHNW clients.
- Ensure they are adhering to leading with financial planning with all clients/prospects and working with other wealth professionals (portfolio managers, fiduciary officers, and wealth planners) on client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Coordinate the development of new Advisory business and engage with the team on the largest or most complex accounts.
- Exercises personnel authority with respect to hiring, performance ratings, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations in conjunction with leadership.
- Onboard all new hires appropriately.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor's degree and 8 or more years of Advisory Management or other directly related experience.
- Leadership experience required.
- A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
- Strategic thought leader with ability to motivate teams and partners.
- Budgeting and project management experience.
- Requires advanced knowledge of wealth advisory and wealth management.
- Applies advanced principles, theories and concepts.
- Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.
- Requires a considerable working knowledge of banking and financial services and the ability to apply that information to current role.
- Series 7, 63, 65 and General Lines Insurance Agent licenses required.
