Job Description:

At Regions, the Marketing Brand and Messaging Strategy Manager manages enterprise-wide Brand Strategy and develops and implements strategic messaging plans and creative designed to drive awareness, consideration, perception, and preference of the Regions brand.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and guidance for a team of Brand and Messaging Marketing Strategists
  • Responsible for enterprise-wide brand strategy, research, and performance metrics
  • Develops and evolves customer-centric messaging strategy across all business units, business groups, and products
  • Serves as the brand and creative subject matter expert to internal business partners
  • Develops a strategic and customer-centric messaging program that leverages personalization and segmentation in TV/Video, Radio/Audio, Digital, Social, Email, Mail, Print, Out-of-home
  • Works with Insights, Strategy, and Performance Marketing on the brand measurement and performance metrics that are reported to Finance and Executive Leadership team
  • Ensures that message development and the deliverables resulting support strategic marketing tactics aimed at growing quality households/relationships for the bank and at expanding existing relationships- Regions 360
  • Manages the dynamic creative program
  • Manages brand and creative agency
  • Develops strategies for creative for use across business groups, delivery channels and audience segments/personas that attract, engage, build trust, preference and loyalty for customers, associates, and prospects
  • Manages the advertising production budget and the allocation of investment to increase or maximize the return on marketing investment.
  • Responsible for managing research, analyzing data and making actionable recommendations that affect creative development
  • Responsible for ensuring that Legal, Compliance and Audit standards are maintained

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

This is a single incumbent position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Ten (10) years Marketing or Advertising experience

Preferences

  • Three (3) years of management experience
  • Master of Business Administration or Post Graduate Degree
