Job Description:
At Regions, the Corporate Compliance Senior Manager leads multiple teams of second line of defense risk management experts who advise on business and/or product decisions. Associates at this level are expected to influence strategic direction through leading major projects, programs, or processes with significant business impacts and ensure that all compliance activities within their area of expertise follow the necessary rules and regulations. Associates in this position are also expected to maintain extensive contact with internal customers and regulatory agencies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversees multiple teams of compliance staff and compliance efforts for designated business units
- Serves as a subject matter expert on the implementation and execution of testing compliance controls
- Advises business unit on key compliance issues and provides guidance in the identification, assessment, management, and resolution of operational and regulatory risks
- Supports business unit by overseeing the development of processes and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance, including participation in team meetings, business process improvement efforts, and compliance improvement initiatives
- Maintains extensive knowledge of rules and regulations and their impact on products, services and operations for a specific line of business
- Oversees development of policies and procedures to comply with federal regulations and applicable state laws
- Provides guidance to various departments regarding complex compliance issues and implementation of new compliance requirements
- Ensures timely, accurate and appropriate submission of information requested by regulatory agencies
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position will work a hybrid schedule with a combination of in-office and remote work
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- Twelve (12) years directly related experience
- Six (6) years of management experience
Preferences
- Masters degree
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager Certification (CRCM)

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the national range and level of the position.
