Job Description:

At Regions, the Bank Operations Card Specialist supports debit and credit card operations including card production/issuance, statement and billing operations, and merchant services.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supports the instant card issue program, including printing and mailing cards, and managing the in-branch card issue system
  • Receives escalated calls concerning card maintenance from the contact center
  • Performs card maintenance, including changes to cards and updating the card platform
  • Clears item exceptions and performs data entry
  • Handles card reconcilement and balances the general ledger
  • May support the associate expense card program

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferences

  • Operations or related experience

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • General knowledge of banking procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

Schedule Requirements:

The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 12:00pm

This role is in office at the Riverchase Operations Center in Hoover, AL.
