Job Description:

At EnerBank, the Independent Contractor Division Consultant is responsible for determining which customer leads meet the bank's minimum requirements and providing administrative support through servicing a high volume of incoming calls.

EnerBank USA, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and other organizations (with networks of home improvement contractors) to develop customized white-label loan programs to help them increase their sales as well as attract and retain top dealers.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Answers a high volume of incoming calls to prescreen leads and verify eligibility for EnerBank lending programs

  • Communicates with homeowners and contractors to understand their needs via phone and email

  • Works closely with division manager on scheduling, complaint resolution, contractor research, and other support as needed

  • Assists in the accurate input of customer relationship information

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of customer service experience in a professional environment

Preferences

  • Associate's degree or four (4) years of total related work experience

  • Customer service experience in banking or financial services

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to be reliable, punctual, and work overtime as needed

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and make decisions quickly while demonstrating adaptability

  • Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on active listening, diplomacy, persuasion and problem resolution

  • Organized with a strong attention to detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Etc)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
