Primary Responsibilities: Job Description

  • Supervise Client Experience Bankers and provide coaching and mentoring in order to create a World Class service environment for Southern First clients
  • Work closely with other bank departments on outside business development calls and handle any client retail deposit needs
  • Grow the deposit base by expanding existing relationships and winning new clients
  • Offer appropriate bank services and products by developing and maintaining a strong working knowledge of all relevant Bank products and services to include cash management, remote deposit, ACH and wires and positive pay services
  • Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all policies/procedures/regulations/applicable laws
  • Research and verify account information, client inquiries and resolve problems for clients, as necessary.  Discuss products and rates.  Provide Safe deposit box services
  • Provide services such as account opening, responding to clients and providing leadership to the team
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Essential Skills, Education and Experience: Job Description

  • Five years banking experience, preferably in Client Services or related area
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience and ability to write and conduct an objective employee performance review
  • Interpersonal communication skills in order to represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with clients and other team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
  • Extensive knowledge of retail banking rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and professional attendance, punctuality, and professional appearance

Preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience using bank systems, such as Horizon XE
