Customer Service Representative

Keystone Savings Bank in Marengo, Iowa is looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative.  The CSR provides a wide range of customer service through sales and service to individuals with deposit products.  The CSR also provides new deposit account opening services, along with the following duties and responsibilities:

• Provides extensive customer service to depositors with specific or special banking needs.  Provides personal banking account advice, including suggestions for account resolution and other information to assigned customers as needed
• Cross sell products and services when appropriate.  Identify referrals opportunities and make relevant referrals
• Process customer transactions within established guidelines; maintain and balance cash drawer
• Face of the bank; greet customers, provide excellent customer service, help customers meet their financial needs while adhering to policies, procedures and confidentiality
• Compliance with regulatory rules and regulations
• opens all type of accounts, including checking, savings, certificates of deposits, IRA's, etc
• Assists potential customers in establishing new accounts and completing customer account files
• Completes operational tasks as requested and working with team members
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements for the position include the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two years of Teller experience and at least one year of account experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Microsoft Office experience
• Maintain a high degree of concentration and accuracy while multi-tasking
• Ability to work both independently without direct supervision as well as with a team; minimal daily supervision
• Must maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and integrity
• ability to work under pressure to meet pressing deadlines
