WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Talent Coordinator is responsible for lending support to the Talent Acquisition team through various stages of the recruiting lifecycle. From updating job descriptions, creating LinkedIn search projects, and posting requisitions to processing new hire paperwork - the talent coordinator plays a crucial support role to the full Talent Acquisition & Onboarding team.

Additional Duties:

Recruiting Daily Support:

  • Route and post requisitions
  • Schedule interviews on behalf of the Talent Acquisition team and Hiring Managers
  • Conduct phone screens and reference checks, providing findings when complete
  • Leverage LinkedIn and other social media tools to promote open postings
  • Process new hire and transfer paperwork
  • Update and store job descriptions as instructed

Other Related Support:

  • Coordinate with recruiters to identify and promote roles through Busey's referral program and Busey's video-based job board
  • Manage routine talent engagement initiatives
  • Support research projects related to industry trends and best practices.
  • Process, Onboard, Track contract service works and temps.
  • Verify and process various temp expenses
  • Manage orders of various office supplies
  • Other support as assigned - Career Fairs, Intranet Content

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Knowledge of:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for service excellence
  • Various social media platforms

Ability to:

  • Maintain confidentiality of associate and applicant information
  • Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management and payroll
  • Demonstrated ability to keep candidate and hiring manager experience in the forefront of all we do.
  • Keep organized/detailed notes around various projects/tasks.
  • Manage tasks through to completion, circling back with key stakeholders as needed.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

  • High School diploma required; associate degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office.
