- Lead and manage information technology related supervisory events, including determining scope, rating, resource needs, and work assignments.
- Draft, review, organize, verify, and evaluate supervisory event documents.
- Communicate, describe, support and discuss findings of supervisory events with Reserve Bank and supervised institution management
- Review technology development and acquisition processes, as well as support and delivery capabilities, including risks associated with outsourcing, security, networks, and contingency planning.
- Assess systems of internal controls and the quality of internal and external audit function.
- Analyze supervised institution performance regarding laws, regulations, and regulatory policies and support conclusions about overall status of supervised institution regardless of size or complexity.
- When in a leadership role on an examination, provide training, work direction, and feedback to assisting examiners.
- Develop and maintain expertise in IT (including cybersecurity) risk, as well as supervisory expectations, industry practices, and emerging financial industry technology, such as Fintech and cloud-based activity.
- Identify and participate in opportunities to enhance skills, including assisting with System or Reserve Bank special projects.
- Safeguard equipment, sensitive data, and resources according to the SRC Information Security and Data Handling Handbook.
- Handle records in accordance with the System Records Retention Manual compliance plan.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
