Peoples Bank of Kankakee County is looking to hire its next Chief Financial Officer

Peoples Bank is a family-owned full-service community bank, managed by veteran bankers, with 3 offices in Kankakee County.  We are a growing, dynamic organization and the CFO serves as an important component to our organization’s leadership. 

This position oversees all accounting functions of the bank including treasury, budgeting, asset and liability management, and financial control activities.  Plans, directs, and controls the banks’ overall financial plans and policies and accounting practices.  Develops and coordinates necessary and appropriate accounting and statistical data and reports.  Counsels management on fiscal control and profitability.  Responsible for financial reports under GAAP.  Directs the accounting and treasury functions providing leadership, training and supervision while ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures and applicable state and federal banking regulations and laws.

Candidates must have an accounting degree and experience in the accounting profession.
