CNB is looking for a qualified, motivated, and client- and team-focused individual to join our team as Treasury Management Representative onsite for our Portage/Kalamazoo market.

JOB SUMMARY

The Treasury Management Representative (TMR) will focus on cultivating new relationships by prospecting alongside market leaders, commercial lenders and private bankers in the Kalamazoo and surrounding markets. The TMR will cross-sell treasury products to generate revenue and deposit growth while ensuring a smooth transition as clients move and expand their relationship with County National Bank.

DUTIES

  • Collaborates with market leaders, commercial lenders, private bankers and support teams to execute a wide variety of sales and servicing responsibilities including deposit growth, business online banking enrollments, ACH services, ICS IntraFi accounts, Remote Deposit Capture and wire transfer services.
  • Creates and executes a calling plan with line of business partners to visit existing clients and prospects. Identifies cross-sell and referral opportunities to further deepen the clients' relationship.
  • Tracks sales and client onboarding activities. Monitors personal monthly sales efforts and maintains a deposit pipeline; and takes action to ensure sales targets and results are achieved.
  • Leads and coordinates RFP requests and client reviews for business and public fund entities. Analyzes existing services to determine usage patterns. Recommends additional treasury products and services, as well as account structures, based on efficiency, cost, fraud protection, automation and ease of use. Creates and delivers a customized presentation based on overall analysis.
  • Onboards and maintains on-going servicing of all types of commercial, public fund and consumer accounts, including Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Services (CDARs) and Insured Cash Sweeps (ICS), while adhering to CNB's account procedures and client due diligence processes.
  • Assists clients with Business Online banking enrollment with Treasury Management services. Performs on-site visits and serves as resource for the installation of product software, hardware and applicable training.
  • Develops referral networks to locate business and municipality prospects for deposits and additional treasury management services.
  • Represents CNB in the community to expand and recruits banking relationships with individuals, businesses, civic organizations, service clubs and other community organizations with banking needs.
  • Assists with the launch and delivery of specific promotions and pricing strategies for various deposit and treasury management products to drive both sales and profitability.
  • Provides timely response and consistent follow-up to exceed the expectations of partners, prospects and clients in need of Treasury services.
  • Maintains and protects confidentiality of customer information.
  • Maintains regular, on-time attendance.
  • Remains current in assigned training and continuing education for designation retention (online, video, in-house emails, telephone seminars, etc.)
  • Complies with all regulatory requirements including Bank Secrecy Act and all others specific to their position.
  • Performs other various duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance is preferred; otherwise, must have a combination of applicable education and experience.
  • Must have previous bank experience in two or more areas of teller, new accounts, loan, or management.
