What you'll do:

The FAM Product Owner is responsible for overseeing the implementation of technology enhancements aligned to the FAM team's improvement vision, while ensuring maintenance of existing systems to meet FAM's ongoing requirements.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Strategic Alignment: You will play a key role in aligning FAM related projects with our strategic objectives, ensuring that our technology investments directly contribute to our company's growth and competitiveness.
  • Efficient Governance: By supporting FAM and ERP governance processes, you will help streamline decision-making and enhance the efficiency of our operations.
  • Effective Collaboration: Your facilitation of governance processes and expectations will foster collaboration between cross-functional teams, leading to smoother project execution, increased transparency and documentation and quicker time-to-market for our products.


What you can expect:
  • Support finance transformation initatives related to FAM technology needs by defining scope, developing plans, and supporting project management through the Bank's defined project management framework
  • Support relevant teams through RFP, new vendor, and software onboarding initatives for FAM systems
  • Manage maintenance, ongoing support models, and priortization/backlog of enhancements for FAM applications, includingreconciliation tool (currently ReconNet, Certification), Workday, Kainos Smart Audit/Test, Evolv, Workiva Wdesk, ServiceNow.
  • Support FAM team responsibilities in the upcoming Data Transformation / Data Lake and Identity and Access Management (IAM) projects
  • Maintain FAM team system architecture documentation throughout improvement initatives, coordinating with IT Architecture and Project Managers to align with Bank technology governance processes
  • As needed, provide technical and functional supervision over assigned staff or contractors


What you'll bring:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 7+ years work experience and 1-3 years project management experience
  • Understanding of IT governance and process flows
  • Understanding of in-scope FAM business processes (source to pay, SOX / Compliance, reconciliations, financial reporting)
  • Ability to communicate complex technical IT requirements to non-technical audiences
  • Strong leadership qualities, communication skills, organization, and the ability to multitask
