Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement fixed income investment strategies that align with clients' financial objectives and risk tolerance.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of fixed income analysts and portfolio managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of fixed income portfolios, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored fixed income solutions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of fixed income markets, identifying trends and opportunities to enhance portfolio performance.
- Risk Management: Monitor and manage risks associated with fixed income investments, implementing strategies to mitigate potential losses.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on portfolio performance, market conditions, and investment strategies to clients and senior management.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including equity, research, and compliance, to ensure a cohesive investment approach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in fixed income markets, with a proven track record of managing fixed income portfolios.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of fixed income securities and markets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Series 65 or 66 securities license required.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
