Provides administrative, secretarial support to relationship team leader in the extension of loan requests which requires work of a confidential nature and requires initiative, judgment and ability to provide accurate client service, representing the Bank in a courteous, professional manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Loan Administrative Executive Assistant position duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Knowledge of banking terminology and procedures
- Demonstrate high level of competency with secretarial duties and working knowledge of composing written communications
- Knowledge of documentation and compliance regulations required for both business and consumer loans
- Computer literate with word processors and ability to learn new programs as implemented for loan processing and client inquiry
- Preparation of loan closing packages, scheduling of loan closing dates and communications/correspondence with attorneys
- Disbursement of loan proceeds upon receipt of executed loan documents by way of official checks, wired funds or deposits to client accounts
- Quote and process loan payoffs as requested by providing correct entries and issuing payment for any overage as needed
- Coordinate with inspectors/appraisers in the disbursement of construction loan advances
- Process payment of invoices and fees as needed
- Ability to work directly with client if a loan officer is not available.
- Answer client inquiries which may require research as to payments, billing notices or loan documentation
- Work and satisfy exceptions report to maintain minimum percentage of outstanding exceptions per loan volume
- Provide loan department with copies of loan payoff requests in a timely manner, documentation to be filed in credit and real estate files
- Provide assistance to other lenders if needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma with previous banking and/or financial experience
- College experience in a business field of 2 to 4 years is preferable
- Interpersonal skills to represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with clients and other team members
- Ability to adjust to change and a willingness to be a team player
- Ability to work with people
- Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality and personal appearance
- Responsibility of handling company funds
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to exercise judgment and make decisions within scope of authority
- Ability to solve problems using combination of intuition and analytics
- Ability to think and act quickly and to follow procedures
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Needs to be able to work independently and in a team setting to research and respond to routine and in-depth regulatory inquiries
- Able to sit in front of a computer for extended periods of time
- Little to no travel
