The Lock Desk Administrator maintains the pricing engine based upon margin requirements, investor guidelines and products offered, maintains investor product and pricing scripts, handles special procedures for bond and soft second locks, sells loans in the secondary market using best execution, reviews and confirms loan lock-in requests, answers loan officer pricing and product questions, performs accounting and reconciliation on loan sales, maintains pricing policies and procedures, assists in new investor approvals and recertification and assists the Secondary Marketing Manager with other reporting, department enhancements and research as needed.

Responsibilities
- Maintain the pricing engine ensuring margins, products offered, and investor guidelines, monitor the market for changes and maintain the pricing engine times for opening, closing and intraday suspensions.
- Review pipeline and closed loan reports to sell loans into the secondary market and update systems accordingly. Utilize best execution methods to maximize gain on sales using best effort or mandatory trade commitments. Update LOS with trade information.
- Review loan lock in requests for accuracy and provide confirmations back to the LOs.
- Prepare reports for accounting on loan sales.
- Review corporate financial reports for accuracy of loan sales against the G/L.
- Manage investor pricing and product changes and apply to pricing engine.
- Reconcile investor settlements including price, SRP's, interest and fees.
- Monitor reports for exceptions, issues or system failures for risk management and
- integrity of data.
- Maintain secondary marketing pricing policy and post to Intranet.
- Price loans as an exception or in a competitive situation as needed for Los.
- Manage investor pipelines on their websites to ensure accuracy and maintain compliance with investor requirements.
- Work with Loan Delivery to allocate loans to commitments and ensure on-time
- delivery of loan files.
- Prepare monthly shortage write-up.
- Research new products and pricing initiatives for review and recommendation with a focus on potential volume and margin opportunity.

Requirements
Skills/Experience/Education
- College degree in math, finance or other business-related degree.
- Minimum 3 years' experience within secondary marketing, mortgage loan sales or product development in residential lending.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Excellent math skills with the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Knowledge of Database software, spreadsheet software and word processing software.
Essential Mental & Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
- Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division any "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
