KLC is looking to hire a Syndication Rep whose main responsibility will be to find funding homes for KLC originated transactions. This role requires a high degree of interpersonal skill, credit analysis and external communication to find good, long-term funding relationships for KLC. The ideal candidate would know how KLC originates transactions, and how to manage customer, asset, and industry exposure. Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate bank and funding partner relationships for buy and sell side opportunities.
- Evaluate and quickly size up new credit opportunities that fit for KLC or other funding partners.
- Work with internal credit and sales team to determine external fit, matching up funding partners with KLC credit opportunities.
- Assist in data analysis/portfolio management by reviewing KLC portfolio and deducing it down to find funding homes for KLC booked transactions.
- Assist in syndicate and securitize credit exposures for portfolio management or for additional revenue.
- Contribute to the development of internal and external marketing strategies for the division.
- Build relationships by attending trade shows and visiting partners at their places of business.
- Target $10 - $20 million sell-side in annual syndications
- Building trust and rapport with trusted partners to ensure them their customers will have a positive experience.
- Timely and accurate follow up with trusted partners, customers, and team.
- Proactive and effective communication (phone, video, in person and via email) to trusted partner and customer requests and issues when applicable.
- Communicating effectively internally (up, down, and across) - closing the loop
- Provide reporting, goals, feedback to the Capital Markets Director as requested.
- Attend KLC sales meetings, trainings, and other corporate management requests.
Requirements
Skills/Experience/Education
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, management, or related field, preferred.
- 2+ years of Marketing, graphic design, preferred.
- Prior experience in banking or a financial services organization, preferred.
- Ability to use excel, TValue and financial analysis.

- Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
- Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
