Job Description:
At Regions, the Digital Channel Manager oversees a team of Product Owners and Execution Analysts supporting the Agile teams for all value streams and is responsible for the efficient and timely execution of the digital program objectives. This role works with Product Owners and Agile team members to develop appropriate implementation strategies and takes point when necessary to eliminate potential roadblocks affecting timely execution. The manager takes point on release management functions, which include ensuring that all releases are high quality and building consensus with all stakeholders on release readiness and deployment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manages the relationship with any third party contract provider for Quality Assurance
- Manages, coaches, and leads professional associates supporting digital Agile teams
- Manages the relationship with any third-party QA provider
- Partners with Application Delivery management and teams as necessary to ensure effective delivery of the Digital Program backlog
- Assists with planning, managing and governing releases and helps prepare internal and external stakeholders for deployments
- Ensures all releases are high quality and have been appropriately vetted by governing teams (legal, compliance, audit, security, etc.)
- Helps create and ensures adherence to release governance standards related to the Digital Agile Release Train
- Ensures digital adherence to corporate governance standards
- Performs as a change agent and servant leader, primarily focused on developing Product Owners and Execution Analysts by creating an environment of collaboration, mutual influence, and problem solving while empowering associates to make decisions
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related study
- Three (3) years advanced management/supervisory experience
- Five (5) years of strategic execution while efficiently meeting enterprise objectives and other key performance indicators
Preferences
- SAFe Agilest (SA) or SAFe Practitioner (SP) certification
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to create and deliver influential large scale project communications with clarity, confidence and enthusiasm
- Advanced knowledge of multiple technical software delivery life cycles (i.e., Agile, Waterfall).
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices (PMBOK, ITIL, SDLC, Agile, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple commitments / projects simultaneously
- Superior written / verbal communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Understanding of leadership development and engagement techniques in professional corporate settings
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applicable databases
