Job Description:

At Regions, the Corporate Banking Program and Process Manager provides leadership and guidance for project, process improvement and vendor management within the Corporate Banking Group (CBG), including technology and business prioritization of investments. The role will lead a team of project managers, process improvement engineers and vendor management associates and create a framework to manage ongoing prioritization of projects with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring organizational efficiency and profitability.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Leads a team of project managers, process improvement engineers, and vendor management associates

  • Creates framework and manages ongoing prioritization of projects supporting the Corporate Banking Group, with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders

  • Identifies business execution opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development over the long-term to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency

  • Develops robust performance metrics across the business line to track quality performance and identify potential control deficiencies where applicable

  • Measures and monitors return on investment (ROI) of projects and process improvement projects to ensure organizational efficiency and profitability

  • Leads execution team for assigned initiatives ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies

  • Leads efforts to align priorities with the voice of the client, designing and facilitating a programmatic approach to capturing actionable feedback that informs initiatives

  • Creates, designs and Implements a centralized end-to-end approach to Vendor Management that will serve as the standard across our corporate banking group businesses and products

  • Serves as the point of contact for areas of the business seeking guidance on the vendor onboarding process and maintains an inventory of all in-progress vendors; liaises with the Compliance Team, the Procurement Sourcing Team, the Technology Team, and the Legal Team and will track the vendor onboarding engagements through to completion, including monitoring for risk and return.

  • Oversees the progress of each vendor engagement, ensuring the business is following the correct procedures and providing advice and guidance as required

  • Partners with Procurement in maintaining an electronic contracts database with expiration dates and key terms, providing timely notification of expiring contracts to business leaders

  • Understands company policies and evaluates and monitors contracts to ensure vendors comply with contractual terms and conditions

  • Collaborates and influences partners, influences outcomes, addresses conflict, and ensures alignment of strategies or policies and business line objectives

  • Creates an environment that welcomes differences of opinion and promotes respect for others, fostering trust and cooperation

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

This is a single incumbent position.


  • Bachelor's degree

  • Twelve (12) years of Project Management or Strategic Planning experience


  • Five (5) years of management experience

  • Broad knowledge of banking and understanding of credit disciplines and business strategy

  • Ability to handle high pressure discussions and drive alignment across multiple segments and functions

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities across segment and enterprise

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • Capacity to prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously

***This role may be filled in other major Regions hub locations within reasonable travel distance to Atlanta***
